tonorator Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 guy offered me westbrook and s. smith (CAR) for ronnie brown and hakeem nicks. very interesting deal ... it's kind of like the names of fantasy lore vs. the players doing well this year. would you stick to the hot hands or would you go for westbrook and smith thinking they will come around? not posting rosters or scoring since this is pretty much an inclusive deal in terms of positions. you make this trade? my initial thought is no ... i like brown's explosiveness and the upside of nicks vs. westbrook splitting time with mccoy and s. smith being in the swamp that is carolina ... but maybe i'm missing something. Steve Smith is almost getting ignored in Carolina, but is the better receiver of the 2. However, the gap in Brown/Westy is too much for me. I'd reject the offer.
