Bench Megatron.......

For this week at least? Am I crazy to bench Megatron (C. Johnson) this week and play M. Lynch? Johnson has the Viking D vs Lynch and the Tenn D. Starts this week would be:

 

P. Manning

R. Grant

R. Rice

L. Fitzgerald

D. Jackson

Megatron or Lynch (Flex)

I'm not sure I'd bench either of them. I like calvin johnson and expect the lions to go down early and be in comeback mode for most of the game. Now that he - calvin - is reasonably healthy I would play him. The talent level is off the charts, he's gonna get his chances, and the vikings are gonna be missing their best cover corner.

even w min coming off a bye- I would start calvin

 

my question is why start ryan grant above lynch. has grant really been that great this year. if you check out the 6 pack it points out that dallas has been playing pretty solid def recently.

lynch hasn't given you much this year but everybody runs on ten.

if you can't play lynch this week i'm not sure who you would use him against.

 

to answer your question. i wouldn't bench calvin cause he's too good and he's gonna get his chances.

i would really think about who is going to put up better numbers this week between grant and lynch. i would use lynch.

My crystal ball sees:

 

- Grant = 70 total yards, maybe 1 score

- Lynch = 75 total yards, no score

- CJ = 80 total yards, no score

 

The caveats here however are:

 

- Lynch may get some of his yards off 2-3 catches so consider that if PPR

- CJ looks to have the highest risk factor, he could just as easily get 2/15/0 on the day as the "good" numbers I mentioned above
