Pappadoc
I could use your help guys! Thanks!!! My team: QB: P. Manning RB: MJD, McCoy WR: G. Jennings, S. Holmes, S. Breaston TE: Gates Deangelo playoff schedule: 14: @NE (HORRIBLE!!!) 15: MIN at home (not so bad) 16: @NYG (bad but not terrible) MJD playoff schedule: 14: MIA (easy) 15: @IND (they have a solid run D and can easily run up the score on the crappy Jags D) 16: @NE (worst matchup of any RB. Pats are gonna destroy the Jags) Edited November 25, 2009 by Pappadoc
HonoluluBlue
I believe that the little bit you'll lose in RB is a small price to pay for the HUGE upgrade in WR. I would make this trade in a heartbeat. Deangelo can have monster games against anyone! Your WR's need help and V-Jack is out of control this year (minus the last couple weeks of tough matchups). eladioc
I would consider moving Peyton and Holmes instead. See if you can find a QB with a favorable playoff schedule (maybe Kurt Warner? assuming he is healthy). My concern is that Peyton doesn't play out the season with the Colts cruising to home field advantage. DeAngelo's playoff slate looks pretty tough. NE is tough against the run (but not impervious; Thomas Jones put up 100+ yds on them last week), Minnesota is dominant against the run (lowest points against per game to RB in standard leagues), and the Giants are about mid-pack. I would stick with MJD as you never know when the next 3 TD, 150 total yd game is around the corner.
