jackets77
I've backed my way into the semifinals of my big money league's playoffs. Had a 1st round playoff bye, and had lost 3 in a row prior to that. Started the year really hot. Anyway..I'm one win away from the Superbowl and guaranteed $ because 1st and 2nd get a payout. I've got a pretty big delimna at QB, as my QB earlier in the year was Ryan, who's out...and my backups are Cutler and Hasselback...and there is not much out there on the waiver at all..Tried picking up Cambell this week but someone grabbed him before I could. Here is my team, need to start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1Flex (rb/wr), 1TE, 1DST, 1K QB: Hasselback, Cutler, Ryan RB: MDJ, SJax, LT, Moroney, Bradshaw WR: CJ, Jennings, Mason TE: H. MIller, F. Davis DST: Chargers K: Akers Here is who I'm thinking about starting which questions: QB: Hasselback (really have no other choice here...following are remaining on waivers: Henne, Quinn, Cassell, Freeman, Redman) RB: MJD, SJax FLEX: Moroney (or should I start LT?? Help!) WR: CJ, Mason (or should I start Jennings over Mason??? Help!) TE: F. Davis DST: Chargers (not sure this is good matchup..following available on waivers: (Titans, Dolphins, Falcons, Browns, Redskins..) K: Akers I know I've wrtten a lot here, and if I need to explain my situation more I can. Really would like some help here. This is a PPR league, you get 1 point per reception, and TD's are worth 6pts for QB's and RB/WR/TE's. My questions are regarding QB, Flex, 2nd WR, and Defense......any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm playing the #1 team in the league who starts Chris Johnson and Ray Rice at RB, but I think he can be had this week if I play my cards right....thanks in advance for any help. nhoops
Thanks for the reply, here are my thoughts QB: Hass - better matchup RB: I think you've got it right with Jackson and MJD WR: yup, go with CJ and Mason Flex: Here's where you have a tough one. Both catch the ball, slight edge to LT. I don't think you can go wrong as a Flex option. But I like Maroney's matchup better, Rivers could be throwing alot. D: Stick with SD Good Luck
jackets77
Yeah, I'm most likely going to stick with Hass..but just don't trust him. But also not sure if I want to take a chance with some of those guys on the waiver wire being one win away from the Superbowl. Aslo, as far as flex. This has been one I've been going back and forth with all week. The matchup definitely favors Maroney, but not sure how that 3 headed monster at rb in NE is going to pan out... As far as WRs go, mostly likely will go with Mason, but read a few places where he's not 100% and that kind of had me overthinking this a bit. Anyone recommend me starting Jennings over LT or Maroney as my flex? just wondering As far as the Defense goes, stick with the Chargers? against cincy? It wouldn't be better to pick up one of those from waivers? Just wondering because I was thinking the Cincy/SD game might be a high scoring affair.. So should I start a healthy Jennings over a gimpy Megatron? Also, anyone else have any other adive regarding my questions above?
