bushwacked
Took awhile but finally some sort of regulation on this. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/22/business...;8au&emc=au Last year when our family went to Hawaii we were on the tarmac for about 4 hours. It was BS. I'm pretty sure airlines do this so they only have to classify it as a taxi delay instead of a flight delay.
dmarc117
is it the airlines or the airports that keep the planes out there?

BeeR
Fantastic idea, but still too way long IMO - three freaking hours?? If you can't get that $%@ thing off the ground within 1, we should be allowed to get off while you get your act together.

Agree it's still too long, but i think at least now, you know there's an end in sight and won't be spending the night on an airplane, which happened very recently.
