greg1024
I've made it to our Super Bowl mainly on the strength of Aaron Rodgers. I know he's probably only going to play a half at the most tomorrow, but our league has team QB's, meaning that we get stats for the starter AND any backup that plays that week. So, do you think Rodgers and Matt Flynn's totals versus the Cards will be better than Jay Cutler's against the Lions? At first glance it looks like Cutler is an easy choice, but the Lions have only given up 2 passing TD's once in the past 4 games. Maybe the Packer-Cardinal game will be a shootout with 2nd stringers. Thoughts? Thanks. By the way, we get big bonuses for length of TD passed. For TD's between 21 & 49 yards we get 9 points, and 50+ are worth 12. This would make me lean toward the Packers' QBs, since they throw for longer TDs. Edited January 3, 2010 by greg1024
ts
Assuming that GBP rests some OL starters, Flynn could be running for his life at times when he's not just handing off ... almost seems like a "full Cutler" might be better than "half a Rodgers/Flynn" in this situation, as bad as Cutler has looked for much of the season.
