Haitians transported to the US

I was reading n article the other day regarding Haitians being shipped to the US to receive medical care... Suprisingly, I'm only mildly against it in light of the disaster that occurred, but that isn't the question I'm concerned with here. Many of the sick and wounded are being flown to hospitals in Florida and this is currently costing the tax payers of Florida millions of dollars. My question is, should Florida or the Federal Government be picking up this tab? Realistically, either way it is tax payer money paying for the care and Florida receives federal dollars for indigent medical care as well. But, these seem to be extraordinary conditions and afterall, it is the feeral government that is brining the Haitians in not the state of Florida... So, should Florida pay or the Fed?

Those people should be strung up by their necks until they are dead. My wife and I got in an argument about it last night, she thinks they were helping.

Clearly fedgov, IMO. I'm not against this either. In spite of what has been said about the US in Haiti, it's just being a good neighbor.

This. Last I looked Florida doesn't have a foreign policy. Clearly this is a Federal issue and Florida is just geographically convenient. If we're going to spend money on this - and we should - the load should be spread across everyone.
