question for da realtors

When I sold my house about 1.5 years ago now, one buyer tried to get me to do this. I turned them down. Problem is you are still tied to the house and who knows how much the buyer will take care of it. They don't have to exercise the option to buy. On the flip side, if the market in that house price range stinks, it may be better than nothing for a seller and you get to keep the money they pay you. Still, we just wanted to be rid of the house and move on because we hated the neighborhood. So, we waited and found a new buyer after a month or so.

If they cant buy the house now. 90% of the people will not be able to buy 1 year from now.

Very few lease to own contracts are ever executed a year after lease.

not talking abou tthat. more about can afford, just dont want to get locked into a certain place yet.
