That's the end result of what you're advocating. DNA = fingerprints as long as it's only used for crime detection. I'm aware of the possibility of abuse and if that happened I'd join you on the barricades but for crime detection - and superior proof of guilt or innocence - then I'm OK with this. Do you not think that the Alberto Gonzales' of this world would do that in a heartbeat, arrest innocent people just to get to the bad ones?
