slideshow help

I'm putting together a slideshow for my daughters graduation party. Being a techno-dunce, I don't know how to add music. I'm using Picasa and I'm pretty sure that will let me add tunes. Is there a reliable website for music downloads, and is Picasa the way to go? Any help is TIA.

ETA: Duh, it just occurred to me that I could use itunes I suppose.

For Picasa 3:

If you are talking about adding music to a Gift CD slideshow, you can not do that. You also can not add music to a Web Album slideshow.. Picasa does not have the option for these.

If you mean adding music to a slideshow that you are running in your computer , in Picasa go to Tools > Options > Slideshow and put a "check" against "Play Music During Slideshow".

Then in the box below browse to find the MP3 or WMA music file that you want to use. Then press OK. If you do that , when you run your slideshow on your computer , music should play.

Note that if you add music that is DRM ( copyright protected - such as Itunes downloaded songs) Picasa will not play them due to copyright reasons.
