jamman
I've been in a dynasty league for the past several years. It's a yardage league where RB's, WR's and TE's all get a point per yard and the QB's get their total divided by 2.5. This is my team: M. Cassel(KC)10.8 B. Farve(Minn)17.5 A. Smith(SF) 18.8 J. Addai(Ind)5.5 R. Rice(Balt)3.8 C. Wells(Ariz)2.2 J. Harrison(Clev)15.5 B. Edwards(NYJ)6.4 D. Henderson(NO)7.5 S. Breaston(Ariz)12.11 J. Cotchery(NYJ)13.5 L. Murphy(Oak)20.8 M. Massaquoi(Clev)21.5 K. Boss(Gia)9.5 R. Bironas(Tenn)24.8 Seattle 16.8 Washington 22.8 For roster size I would need 1 more RB, 1 more TE and 1 more kicker. My question is this. I have the number six pick coming up in the draft. Should I stay there or should I look at making a trade to try and get the #1 one overal. I was going to trade my 2nd, and 3rd round from this year along with my 1st next year and either Addai or Edwards for the #1. I've also been asked about trading Alex Smith but not sure what I would be getting in that trade.
jamman
If you can get that done, do it. But no one will give up the 1.01 for a 2011 1st and, essentially, depth. Keep Alex Smith. He's been given all the tools to succeed and just might. You'll need him or Cassel to actually step up for when Favre retires. Yeah I guess you're right. Next question would be should I go with a WR my first pick or RB with the possibility to trade one of the RB's down the road.
jamman
is this a rookie only draft or are veterans thrown in? If so, what top veterans are available. It's both. Rookie and veterans. I haven't done my list of available free agents just yet. Going to do that over the weekend. The draft isn't until next month but not much as talent as far as veterans. You're allowed to keep up to all of your roster and with 12 teams there isn't much left at this point.
Zooty
I think you need a stud WR a lot more than another RB. You could use a TE too. Not sure A. Smith will bring much but maybe a TE. At least the rookie draft is deep at TE
