Menstrualgravy
This is my first time in a league that offers points for return yardage. Not only that I get 1 point for every 10 yards. In a 10 team league, should I be looking at guys like Joshua Cribbs as my #1 overall? Any huddlers have some insight on this type of scoring league? This league is a non-ppr. Thanks in advance. delusions of grandeur
Depends in part on how much you reward them, but I used to play in a league where you even got a point for every 15 yards (ridiculous I know). But guys like Cribbs are still just a WR3 or WR2 at best. Guys like Harvin and Jones-Drew in 08 however, are monsters in this format though, because they get alot of yardage in all aspects of the game. Harvin was 2000 yard guy last year with returns added in... So don't forget about these guys when it starts coming to your WR2's and 3's, but no, return yardage does not replace true WR/RB production, even with liberal points for return yards. ETA: well, if you're saying that you get a point for every 10, then I guess it does, but a guy still has to get alot of yardage overall to be considered WR1-worthy. Just look at a list of all-purpose yards for reference... Also, keep in mind that some return guys tend to get promoted/replaced, for better or worse. Menstrualgravy
I know its kind of ridiculous to get 1 point for every 10 yards. Im pulling my hair out trying to come up with a draft strategy.

Im pulling my hair out trying to come up with a draft strategy. It does make it a little tougher with no PPR to gauge value here, but don't overthink it. If a guy is as talented as Desean Jackson, Harvin or MJD, then they're going to end up getting their touches and yards regardless, but as for other guys who only have value as a tentative returner, they are not worth drafting much if any higher. Menstrualgravy
Thanks for the input. I drafted tonight and im happy with what I have. Since return Yardage is huge in this league I did lean a little on that. QB, Jay Cutler, Carson Palmer Rb's Ray Rice, Ryan Mathews, Knowson Moreno, Darren Sproles Wr's Desean Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Percy Harvin, Eddie Royal, Joshua Cribbs TE - Greg Olson K - Matt Prater D- San Fran 1 point per 10 yds for kick returns is big. But I also wanted guys who were playing. I got Josh Cribbs in the 12th round so I think there is some good value there. He had over 1700 yds returning last season. Eddie Royal will be your #1 Receiver in overall yardage in this format

Menstrualgravy
It seems like most of the people dropped the ball during the draft. I got Ryan Mathews in the 6th, Desean in the 5th, and Percy in the 8th. Darren Sproles was my 13th pick. My recievers are pretty beastly when you account return yardage. Im not sure if Reggie Wayne will even start much.
