T.O.'s
I'm playing in a 12team non ppr league. Scoring a TD in my league is worth 6 points at QB,rb and wr. I think in most standard leagues QB`s only get 4points for a (PTD). I'm expecting CJ2k, AP, MJD, Rice, Gore, and Turner to be gone before my pick. So who should i pick.. I'm not to high on Steven Jackson and leaning towards A.Johnson. I was also wondering if it would be worth it to take a QB in the first round since (PTD) are worth 6 instead of 4. delusions of grandeur
Not trying to be rude, but will people looking for advice please look and see if it's been addressed before. If so, then bump that other topic up before you repost. These same questions are becoming very redundant. This same question asked about 10 posts below you here: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=325080 And if you search to the next page of posts, another thread with more insight. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=324552 But all that aside, I'd take one of the 6 top ranked backs, or AJ if you feel better about him and plan to pick up a decent RB later... And No, 6 point TDs does not make QBs worth much if any more. It means that the position is as deep as it always is (assuming you only start 1). Eli Manning is a top 10 scorer in many formats. Does that mean you should draft him early? Of course not. Only reason to pick a QB early is if you believe that he'll vastly outperform others at HIS position, not overall. This is the precise reason that elite RBs are taken first. They're the shallowest compared to how many you usually have to start. zing
I would take AJ if he is available.otherwise go Rodgers or a top RB.
