Keeper Dilemna

Recommended Posts

10 team standard scoring league and I don't get to find out my draft order until select my keeper. I have it down to Gore for my third rounder or Mendenhall for my 10th round pick. I know Mendenhall offers the biggest jump but I don't know if I want him with any pick. Yes, without Big Ben, he will be the offense only option, but I have always stayed away from the only option on a bad offense.

Gore is a workhorse behind an improved line that I am high on this year. So what would you do? Gore or Mendenhall?

i don't like mendenhall at all this year. teams are going to pack the box this year for 2 reasons. 1. ben is out for 4-6 and 2.their oline is terrible and getting worse. add in the fact that you are in a 10 team league (which always creates teams with alot of studs) and i say gore is the way to go. unless you are willing to fight through a tough season to get to any up side mendenhall may have next year, keep gore and ge

Thanks, basic. That's what I was thinking until I posed the question elsewhere and got blasted bu Mendenhall supporters. To me Gore is a no-brainer but I got worried when no one else was thinking mendenhall will be hurt not helped by Roeth's absence.
