zl941
i have 3rd pick in a 12 team ppr league..............im really considering aQB (arron rodgers, dree brees, payton manning) instead of taking mjd or ray rice........that is if the first 2 pics are cj and ap......... what you think
SLGRAF
If you want one of Brees or Rodgers, then you may have to take them at #3, since they will be gone before your next pick. In a PPR, I would go with Rice, personally, but pick whom you want.
Hugh 0ne
I would never draft a QB that early. You can get very good QB value in the 5th or 6th round. Grab MJD in round 1, a top WR in round 2, and go from there.
Art Van Delay
Depends. Do you think Rodgers is going to put up 4500 yards and 40+ touchdowns (throwing/running)? If you do, it's not a real reach. Anything less than that and it's probably too high. Have you tried to trade down? That may be an option as well, where you could still get him at #8. I have the #3 pick in my league, but it's a QB flex league so the value of QBs is higher.
dula14
Really depends on your league scoring. In a standard 1 pt per 25 yds pass, 4 pts per td pass and no bonus pts for 300 plus yds passing, I think #3 is too high for a qb. Just had a draft where Rodgers and Brees went 1 and 2, but league scoring is heavily qb weighted with 1 pt per 10 yds, 6 pts per td pass and 1 pt per completion.
