vikingsguy
Keeper league, basics of scoring: 1pt/20yards rush/rec, 6pts TD, no PPR or bonuses. $100 salary cap league. I can keep Chris Johnson for $31 OR Shonn Greene for $10. (Though this decision may seem obvious to some, I have Chris Johnson in another league. I'm considering diversity of my entry fees here. i.e. not putting my eggs in one basket). 10 team league Starters: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D Thoughts? SLGRAF
Keep CJ. $31 is a reasonable price for him, and Greene will have carries stolen by Tomlinson.
vikingsguy
Thanks guys. Yeah, efficient price on CJ, just debating whether the sum of parts I can build with a new keeper (potentially) in Shonn is worth it. I'm about 85% on CJ. The other 15% me thinks can nab a Ryan Mathews/Pierre Thomas combined with the $31 CJ would cost me and have a nice little 3-headed option at RB. This league traditionally fetches $40 for the top 1 or 2 RB's every year, but I live in Minnesota, so that will likely be AP with the homers this year, and CJ should I decide to keep Shonn. WashingtonD
Overthinking it I think (if that is logical)...with that reasonable of a price you have to go with CJ, despite the rampant homerism in your league and the relative value of Green. Green is just too unproven, I fear you will kick yourself if you keep him over Chris Johnson Best of Luck, WashD
