Chuck Norris 8
Good day my fellow huddlers!!! This is my favorite of 4 leagues that I participate in. This is a standard scoring format, non-PPR. 1 pt per 25 yds passing, 4 pts per passing td, 1 pt per 10 yds rush/rec, 6 pts per td. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST I must admit, I was shocked with some picks, but nontheless, this is the team I drafted. I had the 2nd pick in our 10-man league. Round 1: Adrian Peterson Round 2: Roddy White Round 3: Miles Austin Round 4: Philip Rivers Round 5: Antonio Gates Round 6: Ronnie Brown Round 7: Ahmad Bradshaw Round 8: Jeremy Maclin Round 9: Terrell Owens Round 10: Michael Bush Round 11: Packers D Round 12: Clinton Portis Round 13: Jay Cutler Round 14: Lee Evans Round 15: Steve Slaton Round 16: Matt Prater So my starting line up looks like this for week 1: QB: Phillip Rivers RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Ronnie Brown WR: Roddy White WR: Miles Austin TE: Antonio Gates K: Matt Prater D/ST: Green Bay Your thoughts are kindly requested for where I went wrong and room for improvement. Regards, Chuck Norris
Scooby's Hubby
good timing on Gates and Maclin ... I am not sure about the Rivers pick, though.
The Spruce Moose
A lot of the "experts" are predicting Rivers to be a good fantasy qb this year I just don't have much faith in his receivers. Turf toe Slaton hurt me pretty bad last year going negative with his fumble problem. I would probably drop him and try to pick up another D so you can play the match up. Chuck Norris 8
Excellent advice fellow huddlers. The Rivers pick was not the plan, however, I wanted to get one of the top 7 QB's. I was eyeing Flacco, but felt more comfortable with Rivers. We shall see. Slaton will most likely be dropped. I just want to see what Arian Foster brings before I do that. Who know's, maybe Slaton somehow gets in the good graces of his coach and finds some playing time besides kick returns.

ReturnToSender
Very nice picks, and unlike most folks, I am high on Rivers, especially his first 6 games, look for huge stats. BONUS, you got Gates, his number one target, and the TE I think this year who will have a MONSTER season! http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=328845 Edited September 8, 2010 by ReturnToSender
