krad
and pick up Nate Burleson, Santonio Holmes, Mario Manningham, or Mohamed Massaquoi? Or stand pat and see what happens...
BearBroncos
You'd be crazy if you did. Mason is still the number 1 guy and even at 36 he's been consistent. He will probably be replaced in the next year or two, but I wouldn't take the chance on any of those other yahoos. The oonly ones I would cinsider would be Holmes and or Burleson. krad
I think Bouldin is going to have a big year, and was hoping Mason would benefit with him there...now with Housh as well I'm starting to have doubts...Holmes might get targeted alot, but Sanchez has to get him the ball and Jets are going to run alot... BearBroncos
Look at it this way. Before, all CB's had to worry about was Mason. Flacco should have his best year yet and now CB's won't be able to double cover a single receiver, givng better opportunities for Mason. I think it's a benefit of Mason having Boldin and Housh there. BearBroncos
BTW, Housh will play slot and Boldin will play the otherside of Mason. Housh will be the Welker to Masons Moss.
michaelman
...I hope you're not comparing Mason to anything close to a randy moss deep threat... cuz that would be ridic.
burton
I'd stand pat and see what happens. Just don't expect much from Mason this week as they are up against the Jets.
