jailbirds
Is welker healthy enough to depend on in week one? or do I roll the dice with T.O. at wr#2? I am starting A foster and r brown at rb, with Hightower at flex, peyton at qb finley at te
MTSuper7
I think Owens has the potential to really abuse the NE secondary, and considering the rest of your team starting looks solid, I'd start Owens. If Welker goes off and shows no signs of being slowed down by the knee, I think your team can withstand that decision. But it would suck if Belichick rotates in Julian Edelman a bunch to keep Welker on a pitch count and you get burned because of it. We really don't know how Welker will react to a full game at this point. Owens has the higher floor since there is a chance Welker isn't on the field the whole game (if the Texans have Owen Daniels on a pitch count for the same injury suffered several weeks earlier than Welker's, what does that say?). pdog
Edelmen has a gimpy ankle so he's not 100% either.
brownie7868
Owens. He will get a ton of looks. I watched all of the Cinci pre-season games and he and Carson are clicking.
joeyb7
I'm a NE homer and I'm thinking this is going to be a tough game... If you're not in a PPR league I'd go with Owens, otherwise I'd go with Welker.
trout
PPR - Welker for sure. Owens otherwise

luke davenport
Close, but I agree in a non-PPR (where Welker is King) you go Owens.
