dfine
I need a little help. I lost my first game this year. I was the 4th highest scoring team in my 10 team league this week. But of course I lost to the top scoring team, who. by the way had Forte, Foster and oh yeh, New England Defense and throw in Boldin. Of course I was killed by Berrian and DeSean Jackson this week, but I did have Ocho and PManning and Mason Crosby(Thank god for long distance kicking points). I need to sure up my WR position. I want to dump Jerricho Cotchery(NY Jets offense stinks). I might even think of dropping Bernard Berrian also, but that I am unsure. Here are my receivers now: DeSean Jackson, Chad Ochocinco, J. Knox, Mike Williams(TB), Berrian and Cotchery. I really need to improve my wide receivers. Wide Receivers and Tight Ends are the same in my league. I have to start 4 WR’s each week and must have 6 WR’s on my roster at all times. Must drop WR for WR. Here is who is on the waiver wire that I could put in for. Scoring 10% yardage, 5 points TD’s, NO PPR. Can you please rate in order? This is in no particular order. 1. Legedu Naanee(If Jackson doesn’t come back, is he worth it?) 2. Austin Collie(I have Manning and Addai, too many eggs in one basket, or too good to pass up?) 3. Mark Clayton (Is he a one week wonder?) 4. Mike Thomas(Looks like he could be number 1 over MSW) 5. Chris Chambers(He did do well last year for KC, and the weather stunk last night) 6. Chris Cooley(Tight Ends and WR’s are the same. He and Santana Moss look like McNabb's only choices) Please rate from 1 to 6 to go after. I have 4 other teams that have a shot first over me. So I need to prioritize. Beside Cotchery, should I also drop Berrian and grab two of these players? Edited September 14, 2010 by dfine
onionring9
I had this same debate last night and ended up dumping Cotchery for Naanee. I really only debated between he and Clayton but I don't see how Clayton can be consistently viable with the STL offense. They will be throwing a lot because they will be down but I just don't see the consistent numbers. At least with Naanee he has a good offense he can thrive in. PPIchamp
Collie - Indy's own Welker lite maybe? (but with TD's) Cooley - Not seeing Davis out there much is promising, and we know what McNabb did for Celek last year. Naanee Thomas - If you get ret ydg points, put Thomas over Naanee Tier 2: Chambers Clayton

matt770
I like Clayton and Nannee, but I happen to own both of them. I like Collie too, but Peyton has too many other options for him to be a consistent producer.
PPIchamp
Clayton is competing for looks with Amendola, Robinson and S-Jax as much as Collie is with Wayne, Clark, Garcon (maybe) and Addai. Collie has a far superior QB in a far superior offense. Clayton has had ample opportunity to "make it happen" in Baltimore for years and never did. Why believe in him now? It's way too soon to declare Clayton the #1 WR in St Louis yet, and even if he is, it's St Louis! Who's ten Week 1 catches are more likely to be a fluke? I'll take the under on either of them doing it again this season, but I'll put money on Collie possibly doing it again over Clayton. Collie had 7 TD's on his 60 catches last year. To me it's not even close.
