#1 Waiver Wire Priority conundrum

Guys, need your opinion on something. I'm in a 12-team standard scoring league (no PPR) and had the 12th pick in the draft. My starting QBs are Kolb and A. Smith (ouch) and I have #1 WW priority. In a bit of a pickle on whom to burn my pick. Would you add players to address immediate needs or take the best player available?

In my case, would you pick up Vick (who I'm not crazy about) or Orton (ditto) OR use my pick on the new #1RB in GB (Brandon Jackson). My RBs are relatively solid already: Mathews, Foster, Best and Bradshaw, so it wouldn't be addressing a glaring need.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depends on can you use Jackson or one of your other players for a trade, if your league allows it. What other QB's are available. Everybody is forgetting about Shaun Hill, who is going to take over for Stafford for 2 to 6 weeks.

It is always good to stockpile good players. You could pick up an Anderson or even Bradford in a pickle. I do like Orton though, but not the first WW pick.

Well, I'm a hypocrite for saying this, but my QBs were Kolb and Stafford and I picked up Vick. Then again, at the time Grant still looked like he was coming back.

I'd take Jackson and make a move later for a QB or trade. You can't really deny the value of Jackson right now.
