ducksauce88 Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 I can't decide if I wan to start Charles or not this week. He isn't getting as many carries as I thought he would. I am already starting Andre Johnson and Hakeem Nicks, I just don't know if I should start Louis Murphy over Charles. Maybe even Kevin Walter (not sure about starting two WR's on the same team though). Please Help! I'm Torn. This is a 12 Team PPR league. Charles will eventually break out out and i believe it will be against the Niners. Niners are great at stopin' inside power runners like Jones. Giving Charles more chances with the ball via outside runs, dump off passes, screens etc. jus like NO did with Bush before he got injured. Even though Charles isn't as explosive as Bush, i believe he will have a solid game. Pediction: Charles- 13-14 carries for 83 yds. 4-5 catches for 52 yds 1 TD. Walter: 7-8 Targets/ 6-7 catches for 77 yds. (Foster will run all over Dallas give Houston the lead with no real need to be throwing the ball all over the place.) I will start him. I also can see him breaking for another big one. However, I feel as Charles is way more explosive than Bush but that's another subject. I have Foster in my other league so hopefully he will run all over Dallas! I have Charles in both of my leagues so hopefully Hadley will get off of the Jones wagon. pdog Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Charles lack of touches might seem alarming but its really not. Jones had 6 carries towards the end of the game against the browns to run out the clock. Take out those 6 carries and the workload distribution while still in favor of Jones seems a bit more reasonable. Charles is about the only big playmaker on that offense next to DMC who is barely even being used. Part of the problem is Cassel too if he ever gets it together with Bowe defenses will no longer sell out to stop Charles in the run game giving him some more room to perform. Good thing about Charles is he doesn't need room or a lot of touches to do something he is one of the most explosive and dynamic players in the league which is why we drafted him, he won't let us down.
