Vick os up and down but Det is pretty unpredictable other then Calvin not getting it do? Ant thoughts or insights would helpful. BearBroncos Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 I'm a BIG fan of Pettigrew but was nervous with the addition of Scheffler. The first week was bleak but I think there was some caution with the knee. Last week is what the production I expected form a healthy Pettigrew. He looks AWSOME and I suspect he will continue to get the looks. Scheffler will now be the blocking TE and Pettigrew has become the passing TE. I could be way off base here as I don't follow the Lions but I thought I read that when Burleson got hurt, they rotated the better defender to Scheffler and had a safety or someone on Pettigrew resulting in his performance. I was researching his performance cus I'm thin at TE and read that somewhere, for what its worth. I had Pettigrew last year as a rookie and was starting to come on before he got hurt.
