Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 22, according the Charlotte Observer's Darin Gantt.

Huddle Up: Gantt tweeted "thigh" but Smith actually hurt his wrist late in the Tampa Bay game, the same wrist he's broken twice. Smith said he was fine. "I was pretty nervous and it brought back some bad memories. But it’s feeling pretty good and the x-ray shows no break," Smith said. If there is also a thigh injury we'll just keep monitoring practice reports.

Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith escaped serious injury when X-rays revealed no broken bones after he injured his left wrist on the final play of Week 2, according to Darin Gantt, of the Charlotte Observer. Smith walked off the field wincing. Smith broke the same wrist twice in the past nine months.

Huddle Up: At this point Smith is about all the Carolina offense has going for it; for them to lose him for any length of time would be tragic.
