injera
I have been offered 2 trades and want to take 1. Which is the better deal?? I give up LT for Kevin Walter OR I give up Ray Rice for Rashad Mendenhall and Steve Smith (Carolina) This is a PPR league with 6 points for all td's and no defense. My team is currently as follows: Payton Manning Curtis Painter Ray Rice Cedric Benson Arian Foster LT Thomas Jones Bernard Scott Chad Ochocinco Demariyus Thomas Michael Crabtree Dexter McCluster Dustin Keller Ryan Longwell. Clearly I need to trade a RB for a quality WR. Thanks for the help!!
lkirc
I don't know that Smith is a quality WR with his QB situation, but getting him and Mendy for rice isn't a bad deal for you. If Rice's injury worries you, pull the trigger. Why not just trade Ced Benson for a WR straight up? You should be able to get a decent WR for him and hang onto Rice. The LT for Walters deal is a big NO. You are giving up too much.
BeerBaron81
I think I would do the Rice for Mendenhall and Smith trade. Rice is banged up and Mendenhall has been solid so far this year. Thanks for help on mine.
85thatstright10
I also like the rice for mendenhall/ smith trade. I feel at some point Matt Moore becomes the starter again and he's already shown chemistry with Smith. Plus you are pretty much stacked at WR so I don't see you taking a big hit if you give up Rice
cbraendle
I really like the Ray Rice trade. Rice will get his TD's vultured all year, not to mention he is hurt. Steve Smith gets nearly all the targets (or will once Jimmy starts to learn the NFL), and Mendy is not a big step down, especially with the situation in Pitt, where they pretty much have to give Mendy the ball 20 times a game. Even when Ben comes back, it may open up more lanes for him with a distinguished passing game. I'd do it.
