Slugs3511
1 ppr, 1 pt every 10 rush/rec.... We start 2 RBs and 2 WRs and a flex from those positions... I was offered Ray Rice for Randy Moss and Steven Jackson... Currently, I play Steven Jackson as my flex... My RBs are : A Peterson, Bradshaw, Greene and Steven Jackson.. My Wrs are : Wayne, Randy Moss, Harvin and Jennings What you guys think? Please give opinions, leave me a post to yours...
RJV
I actually would do this trade. It strengthens your RB due to the PPR and SJax is a injury waiting to happen. Besides you can see that they are phasing his carries down a bit and Bradford is tossing the rock all over the place more and more to his WRs. Rice is a top 3 RB in PPR. IMO you have upgraded your roster, in a PPR standpoint mind you, by doing this trade. Loosing Moss doesn't really hurt your WRs either because Harvin's value jumps with MIN getting Moss so your actually good if not better with PPR as well. CamBuc
I would also do this trade. It gives you a very, very good stable of RBs but you're not losing too much on the WR front. Harvin's value has bumped with Moss in Minny (see last week), Wayne is always pretty consitant, and although Jennings has been quiet, he's a good player, and the Packers have vowed to get him more involved in the gameplan. You can always scour the waiver wire for another matchup-dependent WR. I say go for it.

Ray Rice is about to break out, but PPR for both a healthy SJax and Moss should outperform Ray Rice by himself every week

The one thing I dont like about the trade is loss of depth, I'd need a top tier B WR in addition

Chloroform Rx
Looking at the players alone you are losing out BUT as has already been stated, the end result, with respect to the rest of your team, is that you have improved your starting lineup. You lose depth but you will be scoring more points on a weekly basis and better your chances to move up in the standings. For that reason I say make the trade.
