notmike
I am in a 10-league, Non-PPR, Money League... I am currently 2-4. We have bonus points for high yd passing, recieving, rushing, returning games and long kicks. Interceptions and lost fumbles cost 2pts. Sacks are a point a piece. I've made some moves, been really active on waiver wire, and I finally got a W after a 3-game losing streak. *I turned down a Hines Ward for Ryan Torain trade and was rewarded for it this weekend. *I know I still need strength at WR, but not sure who to pick up. I'm thinking about Woodhead. *I also think I'm set at RB. *I just picked up a new kicker (dropping Jeff Reed for him). and *Defense is the diaper dirtznitzle this year! Can some of you please comment on my team, and offer some suggestions about who might be worthy of consideration to improve my overall points? I'm a rookie FF player, but I'll give my best ideas for all your questions. Here's the squad --- QB: Ben Roethlisberger WR: Brandon Marshall WR: Larry Fitzgerald RB: Ray Rice RB: LeShawn McCoy TE: Tony Gonzalez WR/RB: Ryan Torain K: Robby Gould DEF: Pittsburg Bench --- QB: Eli Manning WR: Santana Moss WR: Mike Thomas RB: Michael Bush RB: Marshawn Lynch RB Shonn Greene Edited October 18, 2010 by notmike
delfamdelfam
you look set to me, the only thing I'd consider is maybe trading McCoy since it's TD only, but I'd stick with what you have, your luck will turn with all that talent. slimshady31
notmike, If you were in a PPR league, I'd say don't touch your team and over the course of the season will balance out. Since no PPR, then maybe wait for Fitz to have a 100yd plus receiving day and try to unload him. I think he'll still be valuable in PPR leagues, but with a rookie QB in Hall throwing to him, not sure how much yardage and TD totals he'll get to help you out. notmike
I should make the notes: Our scoring format is standard, so we get yardage + TDs I dropped Mike Thomas and picked up Danny Woodhead. I'm also considering dropping Michael Bush off in a trade or picking up Mike Williams (Seattle)
Dazzlemaster
Id try to upgrade at TE or QB. Can you capitalize on the Gates injury and offer Gonzo and Lynch or Moss? You should be able to find a very servicable TE on waivers if Gates does happen to miss a week or two. I'd also try to package a deal for an upgrade at QB. Can you get Romo or Rivers? Your team looks good overall, but those are the areas where I see you could improve. help with mine? http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=336884
