Tripod Willy Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 I'm trying to upgrade at QB and am looking at Rivers. The other owner wants one of my receivers (R. Moss, A. Johnson, Maclin) or Arian Foster. I'm not willing to deal Foster, but am thinking about one of the WRs. This league rewards more pts for longer TDs, 10 yds/pt rush, rec, 25 yds/pt pass (no penalty for INTs). My starters: Flacco Foster Ronnie Brown / Thomas Jones A. Johnson R. Moss Maclin Backups: Josh Freeman Michael Bush Crayton Lance Moore Do I do this trade? If yes, which WR do I give up? This definitely upgrades my total points, but have some concern over the injuries to Malcolm Floyd and Gates. If I did, was leaning Randy Moss..... Thanks! I don't think Maclin's value is going to be any higher than it is this week (D. Jackson out and Kolb at QB) but he might be the higher scoring WR going forward. Either way, make the trade. Try a 2-for1 Maclin-Freeman deal for Rivers: he'll get a serviceable top-15 QB and a top-10 WR. If not, try Flacco-Maclin for Rivers and a second- or third-tier RB or WR. Rivers had NE (good) Tenn (bad) Hou (great). If you're positioning yourself for the playoffs, looks like 'll get a bye and have decent matchups for Rivers in week 15 16. And how about having V.
