chrisarmstrong07
This is my first year in fantasy, thus my first experience with keeper leagues. Is he worth a keeper? He is on my IR right now, so he isn't taking up a roster spot, but with Floyd also out, I have the option to drop Clark, put Floyd on IR and pick up another WR or TE until Floyd is back. I don't see Clark as a keeper since I wouldn't take him in the top 3 rounds, but I'm not sure what three players on my team I would take in the first three rounds at this point. Any opinions? flemingd
If your team is in your sig, I see no reason why you'd want to IR Floyd. It's not like you're going to get a guy that's going to start for you after this week and Moore is an OK bye week cover. OTOH you can never have too many keeper candidates. Yes you have a lot of good looking options today but it just takes one contract holdout, one MCL, one QB getting squished and all of a sudden you're looking deeper on your roster. Having a TE that outscores the field (except Gates) by a wide margin is a HUGE advantage. There's nothing about the injury at this point that suggest it's career affecting and given you have nothing to gain by dropping him I don't recommend it. chrisarmstrong07
I didn't see it as a great idea, just something I was considering. I have another D/ST that I used for the bye that I am going to drop for a WR fill in. Possibly Britt if he falls to #2 WW or Burleson or James Jones.
