keggerz
This is what Marlon Dorsey had to say regarding the "incident" he had with his players: "I took it upon myself to save these young men from the destruction of self and what society has accepted and become silent to the issues our students are facing on a daily basis. I am deeply remorseful of my actions to help our students." Now if you don't know what the incident is here you go.... It was just on ESPN and they are saying (played a cell phone video of him beating a players ass with a paddle too) that he admitted he paddled his players, they say he whipped them...but 3 students have filed a federal lawsuit (suit is against coach and school)...coach said punishments were for all types of reasons, such as: leaving school without permission, disrespecting teachers & stealing cell phones....players say it was for not running plays right. Unbelievable edit: story and video here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/11/m...s_n_782259.html edit2: not that it matters but this guy is only an assistant coach too Edited November 12, 2010 by keggerz

The Holy Roller
Ooops. As a coach I always found that making them run till their dicks drug on the ground was an effective way of stopping unwanted behavior.
redrumjuice
I got paddled from kindergarten through high school, the coaches were the ones who hit the hardest, but it still didn't do anything but sting. We as a nation are growing a bunch of pansy criminals with no self respect or ability to behave.

If it was so bad, why did dad not stop it the first time he saw it occur?
HowboutthemCowboys
100% money grab here by the parents. If it was so bad, why did dad not stop it the first time he saw it occur? I stayed home with my sick kid today. This "Dad" was on the Today Show this morning. IIRC, he said he saw it at practice twice at the end of the week then again on monday. Said he did'nt want to cause a scene in front of the boys. I got the feeling it took him a few days to get ahold of a lawyer that would take his case. what an Good Day, Sunshine
