electricrelish
My mother is thinking of purchasing a used Nissan 2010 Sentra. It has a smart key. It only comes with one. She wants extra keys understandably. I've looked at ebay offerings and places like amazingkeys and they sell the remote key as well as instructions on how to program it yourself. Are these legit? Has anyone every tried it? I've heard that getting a key from the dealership is extremely high. Thoughts?
Double Agent
I bought an extra car remote (had to program it with supplied instructions) off of ebay and it worked like a charm. I know that's different than a smart key but I would assume it's legit if the seller's ranking is high.

Footballjoe
I believe either Lowes or HD are now able to do the smart keys. The are still expensive but not as bad as going to a dealer.
