BeeR
1 - Might be a little late in the season for this tip, but FYI "Stay Green" fertilizer (sold by Lowes) is COMPLETELY worthless so don't waste your $. I have used it twice now (first time was some yrs ago, stupidly believed a Lowes guy who said it was good and gave it a second chance) and might as well have fertilized the yard with rocks for all the good it did. 2 - As someone who gets poison ivy easily and also easily prone to it spreading, trust me this is by far and away THE way to most quickly and easily get rid of it and minimize speading: get something which says it washes off the urushiol, which is what makes that stuff spread. You'll find it expensive but well worth it.

BeeR
No it doesn't, that's a myth. I used to think so too. I typically got steroids for it but this lady at one of those minute clinic places splained it all to me. I admit I was skeptical but results don't lie.
