dfv87
Ryan's roblem is he's not very good at making his progressions. If his first guy isn't open (Roddy), then he tends to make mistakes. He'll certainly have more opportunities for the first guy to be open, but I just don't see how this helps him enough to project him as an elite QB. Hey isn't a Saints fan giving a critique of a Falcon QB as they say "culturally biased"? I mean that would be like asking a long time Vikes fan to accept somebody like Brett Farve as our QB with all his faults... oh wait... yeah, maybe that didnt work out too well either... Thanks Ragn! I still like Ryan this year, espacially if I can get him relatively cheap... compared to the big 4 or 5 QBS

Last year, he didn't have another target he could really trust when they needed to make a play... The Falcons had a ton of success just forcing the ball to Roddy on third-downs, but got down to them way too often.... But even as predictable as the Falcon's passing game was last year, Ryan still had a 28:9 TD/INT ratio... Now, we might need to worry if that ratio gets up to say, 33:22 and he's forcing awful shovel passes into traffic
