dfv87
SAS made a comment regarding Joe Torre's comment on players not "respecting the game" in relation to the umpires and latest incident including Molina "spitting"... He stated something I have never understood about MLB and Umps. In any other sport if you argue you get a T or a flag or a Yellow Card even. BUT the umpires seldom start fights. This happens all the time in MLB... an ump screws a call, the player gets up, demonstrates frustration, turns his back and is walking away muttering and the UMPIRE follows him to escalate it. I mean does this ever happen in anything else? When was the last time a NFL umpire ran after a player to continue a dispute?
