A Few teams that I drafted (12 team ppr)

Did these Bronze leagues on MFL. 12 team ppr, 1QB, 1RB, 1 WR, 2 flex, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF

(Just to give an example of where I had to take players that I like)

 

A few regrets I have are:

 

1. targeting AARON Hernandez in the 5th round. I went for him in the earlier drafts. It wasn't until one of the later drafts that I saw I could get Tony Gonzalez in the 10th round +. Tony gonzo was the 3rd highest scoring TE in PPR last year. and his production was the same "decline type" numbers that he's done for the past 3 years at Atlanta. (83-867-6, 70-656-6, 80,875,7) That's pretty consistent and I see NO REASON why he would not get those numbers again especially with all the hype over matt ryan. He might even improve on them. Moving forward IF I DONT GO FOR a TOP 2 TE... I'm waiting for Gonzo in the 9th.

 

2. JORDY NELSON. early on I was excited to get him in the 3rd round. Then I noticed that I could get him in the end of 3rd early 4th. When most of the time PERCY HARVIN was still available. Neither of these guys would have made it back to me for my 5th pick... but I do feel that in PPR... Percy Harvin is highly undervalued and I should have picked him. I do have him in 2 leagues though.

 

3. WES WELKER. You can tell that I take this guy in a lot of my drafts. I was just drawn by his consistency week in week out.. and a good fantasy team needs a few of those consistent guys (same reason you draft an elite QB). BUT... I could have taken a risk and gotten fitzgerald or marshall in a few leagues. (i had fitz last year and it was a nightmare with those QBS)

 

MONEY PICKS:

 

PEYTON HILLIS: getting him 6th or later in ANY FORMAT IMO is a huge steal and will win you leagues. Go research yourself on him.

 

JAcQuizz Rodgers: Got him in the 8th round pretty consistently. At this point in the draft your starting lineup and 1-2 backups are already in the bag. JAcquizz is a GREAT gamble at a possible new 2012 sproles in PPR.

 

JAY CUTLER: as matt ryan climbs the boards I may stop trying to get him... and bank on JAY Cutler. (like i was forced to in 2 leagues) Did any1 see the last pre season game?... he looked VERY ... VERY good.
