Brooklyn718
Do divisions affect the outcome for playoff brackets? Example.. let's say there's two divisions A and B Team 1,2,3,4 are in A Team 5,6,7,8 are in B 4 playoff spots Let's say all the teams in division A are better than division B.. would all of A make it? or would a team from B make it also? or two teams from each? TonyBromo
I could be mistaken, but I think in that scenario it would take the top two from each conference? Isn't that the purpose of saying *ex: (2nd Place in Division B )* next to teams names on the standings page? willswear3
The top four teams in a league make the playoffs. These four are comprised of the two division champs and two wild-card teams. Division champs are the teams that win the league divisions. The next two teams according to the tie-breaker below are the wild card teams. http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/resources/help/content?name=regular-season-and-playoffs-standard
willswear3
All four teams from one division can't make it, because both division champs do, but anyone else can, so it could be 3 and 1 or 2 and 2.
