MainesPickle
Looking for some trade advice... I'm in a keeper league that assigns 6 contract years at the end of each season. This particular season is over for me (1-5). Looking towards next season...I'm trying to offload some players for draft picks. Trade Away: Andre Johnson & two 4th round picks (I have three 4ths currently) Receive: Adrian Peterson & 2nd/7th round picks (Would then have 2 first rounders, 2 second rounders, no third and a fourth) Wasn't expecting to burn any contract years on Andre since I have megatron... Also have Eddie Lacy/Bush Bell combo. Is the trade worth it? Even AP is a bust...I'm thinking I would have good picks to rebuild?... Any advice is appreciated... -Dyllon Current Roster: QB: Matt Ryan WR: Megatron, Garcon, Andre Johnson (Miles Austin/Jennings on Bench) RB: Lacy, Starks, Bush, J. Bell, Hillman TE: Gates, Witten
Blasto95
I would try to minimize losing your draft picks in the deal maybe just swap one fourth rounder for the second and ignore his 7th rd keep your other 4th. Either way in a keeper league I like Ap a lot in the deal and Andre is only being phased out more and more in that offense.
Blasto95
You could also convince him that ap could see disciplinary action from the league starting next year. I don't think t would happen and I would still take the chance on ap but you could easily convince the other team that his value is going down
MainesPickle
Thanks for the input Blasto. I'll propose it and see what happens. He may counter with a 3rd round instead of a second... But starting the next couple years with CJ and AP is pretty appetizing...
