dfine
Scoring: 5% passing yds, 10% rushing yds, 4 points TD's, -1 interceptions. I have Matthew Stafford on bye week. My other QB is Tony Romo, who I was going to start this week. He now looks like a game time decision. Even if he plays, how effective will he be? I can Pick up Branden Weeden, to be safe, but again if Romo starts and then goes out, I am out of luck. I can also pickup: Brian Hoyer vs Tampa Bay: (I could just pick him up a just start him and not worry about Romo's effectiveness.) I could also pickup and start one of these guys Michael Vick at KC Blake Bortles at Cinn Austin Davis at SF Derek Carr at Sea What should I do? Who should I pick up? Thanks
bsmurray06
I have the same problem, was thinking about picking up Alex Smith at home against the Jets. Is he available for you and what are your thoughts?
robotpimp
I'd look to secure at least a viable starter with Hoyer, if Romo is dressed and playing I would consider playing him but Hoyer does have a decent matchup this week he's not going to have the ceiling to throw many TD's but he would provide at least a good opportunity to fill in as good as Weeden would ever do or better if Romo were not playing. MidwayMountaineer
^^^ I agree go with Hoyer favorable matchup and he's played well enough to be a bye week fill-in
dfine
I have the same problem, was thinking about picking up Alex Smith at home against the Jets. Is he available for you and what are your thoughts? I gave the list of all the good guys available. I would of picked up Smith if he was available and started him. Just wasn't sure if I should pick up Weeden and see if Romo goes, or just pick up another QB, like Hoyer and just go with him. I do think if Weeden actually plays that he would do a good job. But, I am afraid that Romo would start 1 series and be in too much pain and then Weeden would play. What to do? bsmurray06
Tough call, believe I'm going with a healthy Smith and he wasn't available I'd go with Hoyer. Good luck!
