Va Tech at -7.5?

Steeltown Dre

I've been trying to figure out what I think about this game all week, but I'm still not sold on it yet.

I'm going to do some more research today and see what happens.

You have to like the line being that small with V-Tech at home though.

Yea, but then I looked at common opponents:

@Syr. L 42-50

Temp. W 20-10

Rut. W 35-14

@B.C. W 28-23

B.C. W 24-14

@Temp. W 46-20

Syr. W 34-7

@Rut. W 40-0

I really think now Tech can lose this game....

The favorite in this series has covered 7 of the last 8.

Not that a trend like this always holds true...but

You are quoting Bob Cunningham? Look at his record....

That stat of the favorite covering, to me, really means nothing. Every game is different, and this year's team is different from last years. I look more at stats and the way the line moves than I look at series-history of the favorite....

If I had to play, I'd take WVU and the points. I still think Tech wins, but in a close one.

This one seems a little too close to call. WVA is 5-0 ATs and VA Tech is 0-5 ATs last 5. These ATS trends seem to turn after 5 games. Va Tech seems to be falling off the college map. Rushing Yds/att vs def allowed appear to be equal. I give Va TEch a slight passing advantage and at home. I'm laying off. I see it as Va Tech in a close one, but special teams might play a big factor.
