Three Spots Open In Best Ball H2H League

I need a fantasy football fix big time (13 more weeks!), so I'm organizing a best ball H2H auction league. I already have nine participants and only need three more. For those of you not familiar with it, "best ball" is where the best performers from each week are automatically started. No trades or free agent pick-ups are allowed, so it's zero maintenance after the auction. It's better than a mock because you're keeping score, but it doesn't take precious time away from your real league(s).

 

Here are the details:

 

1. This is a free league, but a serious one. If you sign up, please make sure you show up to the auction with every intention of winning it all.

 

2. 12 teams, $200 salary cap, $1 minimum bid.

 

3. The auction will be held at http://www.FantasyAuctioneer.com. (I admit working there, so you can consider this league 5% plug, 95% cry for help.) Not sure yet where the league will be run. The auction is scheduled for next Wednesday, June 15th, at 4 p.m. PST (7 p.m. EST).

 

4. To sign up, go to http://www.FantasyAuctioneer.com, log into the site, and sign up for the private auction with login "bestball1" and password "ball".

 

5. Lineup of: 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DEF/ST and 11 bench spots (20 total - need a deep bench because of best ball format). With this many roster spots, the auction should take about three hours to complete - so don't be late!

 

6. Scoring:

 

a. Passing:

20 yds = 1 pt

4 points for every passing TD.

Minus two points (-2) for every interception thrown.

2 points for every 2-point conversion.

 

b. Rushing:

10 yds = 1 pt

6 points for every rushing TD.

2 points for every 2-point conversion.

 

c. Receiving:

10 yds = 1 pt

6 points for every receiving TD.

2 points for every 2-point conversion.

 

d. Placekicking:

1 point for every Extra Point

3 points for every FG of 1 – 39 yards

4 points for every FG of 40 – 49 yards

5 points for every FG of 50+ yards

 

e. Team Defense/Special Teams:

1 point for every sack

2 points for every team takeaway (interception or fumble recovery)

6 points for every TD (via interception return, fumble return, punt or kickoff return, blocked FG return, missed FG return, blocked punt return)

2 points for every safety

5 points for every shutout

2 points for allowing between 1-5 points

1 point for allowing between 6–10 points

 

Our auction software won't support Macs until this summer, so unfortunately you need a PC for now. Thanks.
