I'm having RB problems - started with Spiller, S Jackson and Ahmad Bradshaw. Jackson's out, Spiller's a bust, and I traded out Ahmad for Bilal Powell when Indy picked up Richardson.
After Spiller's week 3 bust I went looking for another RB, and picked up Snelling for the duration, until S Jacks is back - yes, I'm playing Snelling in place of Spiller. And I expect I will still be playing him or Bilal instead of Spiller once S Jacks is back.
But I still need to keep Spiller as a backup because Snelling and Jacson both, of course, have the same bye - at least until after that week 7 bye.
So - who to give up for Snelling? It came down to either Golden Tate or Dwayne Bowe. At this point, it's barely a coin toss between the two. Bowe supposedly has a lot of potential "upside" according to the pros, but I'm skeptical - Alex Smith is not going to all of a sudden start throwing a lot of long balls at Bowe, and Tate's outperformed him so far - and will likely keep doing at least as well going forward.
Did I make the right move?
