  1. I have the exact same decision, and I'm going Rodgers. He's played well in comeback games, has apparently looked "ridiculous" in practice, and I'm not particularly sold on this matchup for Rivers being so good. Over the last four weeks, the Panthers have been the 2nd most generous to opposing QB's, and the Chiefs are pretty far down that list at 22. Add to that the fact that the LAC sat Rivers last week once the game got out of hand, and the fact that it's just more fun to play Rodgers after keeping him on the bench all this time, and my choice has been made. It's all about having fun, after all! Best of luck!
  2. I have to admit, I hate sitting my ride-or-die being a Cincy native, but I just don't trust AJ's hammy against that HOU DEF. I'll be debating this right up until gametime Saturday, but I'm leaning against my boy. In your case, I've heard some buzz about Robbie Anderson, but personally, I think NE is pretty well adept at taking away the number one option for opposing teams, and with Petty starting, that seems to be your guy, not Brandon Marshall. Who knows though. If you're favored in the matchup, play the safe bet (Britt?), but if you need to make up some ground, I'd say for sure T Gabriel if Julio is out, then Robbie, then AJ. Of course, keep an eye on J Hill's health for Cincy and J Joseph for HOU (though it seems he'll play). Both could play a roll in AJ's usefulness. Thoughts on mine? http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/480907-wdis-t-lockett-m-mitchell-aj-green-j-hill-at-flex/
  3. T Lockett vs ARI M Mitchell vs NYJ AJ Green @ HOU J Hill @ HOU Non PPR, just need to fill my flex. Rest of my lineup (for now) is in my sig. I'm leaning Lockett as he seems to be hitting his stride and surprisingly has the best matchup with the ARI DEF giving up 38.2 pts to the WR per game over the last four weeks. I know M Mitchell had two TD's last time around against the Jets, but he's cooled off lately (albeit against two solid DEF's) and I'm concerned about that game getting out of hand early and him not getting the targets. As for AJ, I'd love to just ride-or-die with him as he helped get me to the ship, but he seems too risky coming off that injury against a solid HOU DEF. And, oh BTW, my opponent has L Bell, E Elliott, and L McCoy going this week. He hasn't paid attention all year though, not making a single move since the draft, and still has B Walsh as his starting kicker, with several other duds in his lineup. So I'm thinking I should still win in spite of his studly stable of backs, but if I lose to somebody who doesn't even care to keep an active kicker in the lineup, I might have to hang up my fantasy cleats! Thanks for the help!
  4. Yeah. So when I masterminded this whole thing, Winston was supposed to have two super sweet matchups in weeks 14 and 16 (championship week) against NO, and Kaep was right in the midst of his 25-30 pt per game tear. So I was going to use Kaep this week against ATL as my stopgap between two helpings of Jameis en route to my third straight championship. My how things change. Fantasy football is a fickle beast.
  5. J Winston @ DAL C Kaep @ ATL E Manning vs DET Non PPR. Opponent has OBJ, so I could pick up Eli and mitigate his effectiveness (never quite sure whether to do this or not). I'm favored by about 10-15 pts depending on my lineup. Thoughts?
  6. Yeah, that's where I was originally going, but the Huddle advice seems to be higher on Tate and Mitchell. I usually go with their advice to save me some headache, but the playoffs has me obsessing at an unhealthy level. Good news is I think I have a little bit of wiggle room with what Kelce and KC's D got me on Thursday. Fingers crossed!
  7. G Tate vs CHI TY Hilton vs HOU J Crowder @ PHI M Mitchell vs BAL T Williams @ CAR Need two. Standard, non-PPR. Leaning towards G Tate and TY Hilton as they're both at home in domes and have been on a tear of late. Chicago's D has been better than people think over the last few weeks against WR's though and G Tate has been fairly inconsistent, especially if M Jones plays. Houston's D has been solid (if J Joseph can't go, that helps) and Luck has been spreading the ball around pretty well. I also know a lot of folks are high on the matchup for J Crowder and T Williams as well though, and M Mitchell seems to be hitting his stride now that Gronk and Amendola are out. Ugh, my head is spinning! Thoughts? Thanks.
