How many teams? How many make the playoffs?

Looks like you're dying for some questions. Ok, I am in a league with simple IDP requirements (1 DB, 1 D - anywhere). The league charges transaction fees, so I have avoided rotating defensive players regularly thus far. Keeping this in mind, who are some sleepers to scour the waivers for that might be able to play solid week in and out. My current guys: DB - Archuleta D - C Grant Scoring: Solo - 0.5 Sack - 3 Int - 2 Fumble - 2 Pass Def - 1 Outside of the fluky play against Miami, Archuleta has given me about 6 tackles a game. Nothing more, nothing less. Do I happily accept the 3 pts a week, or move onto a higher upside player. Some options: Sheppard, Townsend, Lucas, Azumah, McQuarters, Polamalu, Trufant, etc.. Grant was a sack machine earlier this season against the Rams, Cards, and Bucs, but has been quiet since. Of course, that whole Saints D is relatively lifeless. Options: Foley, Sharper, Farrior, Mathis, Fletcher, Peppers, Freeney I've read some of your above analysis. Very impressive. Next year I might expand our IDP usage to add another dimension to our league.

I like Taylor this week, mostly for the same reason as last week. The Jaguars will continue to push the run to protect and create opportunities for Garrard. Pittman has an excellent matchup, but Alstott's possible return could vulture goalline carries. It's not an easy decision, but I would start Taylor.

Hey- Looking for some quick trade advice (consensus?) before the deadlines passes tonight: Background- 12 teams 8 make playoffs (which start week 14 - I am currently in with 2 game cushion) Start 2RBs, 3WRs The Roster- RB - McGahee, K Jones, O Smith WR - Moss, Walker, Ward, Lloyd The Trade- I receive Dillon; I send Ward. My Analysis- Leaves me shorthanded at WR this week (forced to start Stallworth, Pathon, Northcutt type). A loss this week doesn't kill me, but I'd obviously like to clinch a playoff spot if possible. Trade would push Lloyd (and possibly Branch down the road) into Ward's spot, and Dillon ahead of Jones/Smith platoon. Questions- Can I trust Jones and/or O Smith? If not, Dillon helps me sleep at night. If so, I downgraded from Ward to Lloyd unnecessarily. I hoped Tice would commit to Smith, but it looks like an open audition in Minny again this week. Mariucci keeps talking Jones up, but obviously it's too early to expect consistency, right? Anyway, just wondering what the denizens think. Thanks.
