Sportsfan26
My Rb staff was descimated this week with the loss of McAllister, Suggs out for four more weeks and Westbrook on a bye. The best I could pick up was A. Peterson and P Pass on the waiver wire. I was offered Willie Parker or R. drougns for A. Lelie and the TB Defense. My other RB is D. Davis and my other Defense is the Jets. I am not only looking shortterm, but also long term. I have to start twop RB's. I have other decent Wr's like Gallloway, Toomer, Mason and Lloyd. Thanks for your help
BLK&GLD
i'd pull the trigger especially since you have the jets d in reserve. probably take droughns since suggs is out but i actually like parker's chances moving forward - deuce is out and no telling how much wear and tear the bus can take... emandg
I can't imagine where I would make a trade for Parker or Drougns - Definitely not parker and I wouldn't give up TB D period - they are a very solid unit. Stay away from that trade.
WildTurkey
I'd do it. I'd play matchup D; at least with Parker and more so with Droughns, you're getting actual starting RBs who will see a LOT more touches than your alternatives (Pass and Peterson). jaradharsh
In any other situation, I would say no to this trade b/c you are giving up a solid Tampa D. However, you are hurting really bad at rb, so I would do the trade for Droughns. Parker is gonna lose his tds to bettis, and a few touches as well. Do the trade. See my post, trade dilemma as well http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=117914
Sportsfan26
Thanks. It sounds almost like I could be breaking even. Oddly enough, most of you think more highly on Droughns than Parker.
Sportsfan26
Any more opinions on this trade. I just answered a bunch of messages.
AKA
If Tjones is out I would play peterson this week. That is a complete gut feeling though. I read an article where Lovie said Peterson is a good running back. He will get touches. Benson did fumble last week. Parker might not do much against Jags and Droughns is just OK. I might try and trade Galloway for a better RB. Just my 2cents
