PantherDave
So,which game would you like to see to open next season, we know who are teams are playing home and away, but don't know the days or times yet(in the spring we will). So, looking at the Panther's home schedule, we've got a game with Pittsburgh. I realize if Pitt wins the SB, they most likely will get a home game, but it would be a fun match-up to KO the season Pittsburgh at Carolina for the KO game. Whiskey Pimp
If PIT wins, they will host either Cincy or Denver. I say Denver. If SEA wins, they will host either SD or the Giants. I say Giants. Someone save this link so I can see that I was right when the schedule is released. PantherDave
Somehow Bruschi will get in Gillette since the Pats and the Steelers play next year.
jjpro11
if the steelers win, i would think the opposing team would be denver.. especially if denver gets owens.. the pats hosted the raiders after the raiders got moss even thought the raiders sucked the year before.. so i could see the same thing happening next season. even if the broncos dont get owens, i still think it would be denver. you gotta also figure in though that the nfl is going for ratings.. the first game of the season would get good ratings regardless of who the steelers would play.. maybe they would like to save the denver matchup for later that season as a monday night matchup or something which would get great ratings as a rematch of the afccg. that way they could match the steelers up with an average team and still get the ratings they were looking for. as for the seahawks, i dont know their situation so i wont comment. The opening game will be SEA vs NYG though IMO.
