theeohiostate
WILLIAMS OUT, BACKFIELD SHORT: Rookie running back DeAngelo Williams is listed as out for Sunday's game against Baltimore because of the high ankle sprain he suffered last week. Panthers coach John Fox refused to specify how long Williams might be out, although other players with similar injuries have missed four weeks or longer. There are those around the team who think he may not return until after the Nov. 5 bye week. "I don't know all of the intricacies," Fox said. "It's an ankle sprain. Right now he's day-to-day and out for this weekend." source Rotowire.
theeohiostate
4 weeks or more maybe too long a time to have dead back up RB space wasted on your roster. Shelton is being activated this week. I wonder if Shelton or Goings assume the role is Deshaun were to go down.

hezagenius
he hasn't really made an impact on the team as much as i thought he would. i have him in one league and will probably drop him next week in order to pick up a defense for baltimore's bye. i don't plan on picking him again. theeohiostate
Perhaps. Who would you pick up? High ankle sprains can linger. i think the coaching staff has always been enamored by Goings. Shelton is in the dog house, but he is young and talented. PD or another Panthers homer may have more insight on this?
