tbimm
First I will say I had a blast at the game yesterday! As for the Eagles fans; With only a couple of exceptions they were gracious and classy in defeat. Saw one guy get hauled away in cuffs but the major exception was in the ramps on the way out of the dome. This BIG Eagles fan, and I mean BIG was looking for a fight and was close to getting one with this little guy in a Saints jersey when his freinds dragged him off the other way. Good thing cause the little dude would have been hurt bad. We thought it was over at that point but about 1 level down theres this idiot at it again. This time he chose a Saints fan closer to his own size. A pushing match ensued and words were exchanged. Eagle fan takes off his glasses and was promptly dropped with one of the hardest punches I have ever seen. Out cold . Cops and paremedics show up and off he went on a stretcher. I want to applaud all but the couple of idiots because the Eagles fans were truley classy and alot of fun to joke around with. Ya'll are welcome back anytime as far as i'm concerned. Maybe we'll invite ya back for a playoff game .
T_bone65
I wonder if you would get treated the same way in Philly
msaint
Back in the heyday of Sullivan Stadium, which was an effin hellhole, an older fan had a heart attack in the stands and keeled over. As the victim's friends called for a doctor, how did the drunk in the row behind them react? Did he try to help? No -- he zipped down his fly and, teetering from side to side, casually peed on the guy as he lay writhing on the cement. I always considered this, from the Pats less-than-glorious past, the lowest of the low as far as fan/stadium behavior goes...and yet I can't help but think that any fan in Philly could easily top it at any given moment, on any given Sunday. Scourge
I have never seen anyone get pissed on at the Vet or the Linc.. Unless it is a divisional game, it is actually fine for an opposing fan to come to Philly for a game. Like anywhere else, if you are not being obnoxious, you will not get harrassed at all. Giants/Redskins/Cowboys games can be a bit different. But, all-in-all, I think the 'Philly fans are crazy drunk a-holes with no class' thing is over-done. Avernus
I went to the Eagles vs Niners last year and we sat behind Julian Petersons family... we heckled them in good fun....but overall they were alright to talk to.... Niners fans aren't nearly as bad as their reputation has them pegged for...

I went to MNF game a while back at the Vet,Eagles/'Boys. 2 kids about 18-20 sat maybe 10 rows in front of us with their Cowboys jackets on.Never heard a word from these kids the entire game.Nada. When they left you could have squeezed at least a 12 pack out of their coats.

Ah, but the fact we DIDN'T squeeze them (for free beer, no less) tells you this city has come a long way
