peepinmofo
Next year will be his 3rd year. Will he be the 3rd year break out WR? Or will he continue to be hampered by a team that lacks a decent OL, and a QB that is a question mark still?
piratesownninjas
he has the potential to be amazing, but the line will still suck next year... The runninggame will still be horrid as well. I don't blame Frye for the browns inability to do anything on offense.

loaf
I don't know if Frye has "it". You know, the stuff that makes a QB great. He'll be serviceable but nothing spectacular. I'm sure the front office has seen this too. Don't be surprised with a high round QB pick in '07. I see some more draft picks and free agent acquisitions to help the pass blocking too. Bentley will be back next season which will shore up a piss poor O-line this year and help. If yer asking cause of a keeper league dilemma, we'd need to know more about your roster/league rules to give you an answer you might be seeking
loaf
just found (edited) this editorial from ohio.com Savage wants to believe Frye will be his quarterback. He needs to know if Braylon Edwards is a receiver worthy of being the third pick in the draft, or another tease of a player with an inflated ego and inconsistent performances. The Browns are so heavily invested in Edwards that it's critical Davidson find a way to make Edwards a big-play receiver.
Avernus
I think Frye can be a big play QB if his OL was better....isn't he missing 2 OL starters?...if they got those 2 back and added at least one player on the OL, it would be better by default.. So far to me hes had a few "good" games, but nothing spectacular. Being a 3rd overall pick usually means youre expected to be decent with potential, but he just doesnt seem to be doing much.
