Bronco Billy Posted July 21, 2008 Author Share Posted July 21, 2008 Pretty typical Shanahan move. They signed Hillis over the weekend, and that left Bell pretty much on the outside looking in at FB. Shanahan has always released vets in the situation so they can seek work before TC starts rather than having them hanging on for a few weeks before cutting them. I'm sorry to see him go, though. He had good attitude, was willing to do the dirty work, and I though at the beginning of TC last year when we saw him that he had progressed to the next level on his evolution as a RB.
