jaxfactor Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 I don't think Madden said anything bad about Franko Harris either back when you...err...he thought the "immaculate reception" hit the ground. That was not the argument on that play. Madden's argument was that the ball bounced off Frenchy Fuqua before Franco scooped it up. At that time in the NFL, a pass was not allowed to bounce off another offensive player before being caught. One thing for sure, they named the play well.. And I like Mike's thread title in this one also. Amazing even when you see it in slow motion it looks like Troy cups his hand under the ball to keep it from hitting the ground.
